実験動物研究施設について
飼育施設の説明
役割
医科学研究における動物実験の果たす役割は非常に大きく，そのために必要となる実験動物の飼育環境を適正に維持するため，当時の医学部に設置されました。近年，研究分野のボーダーレス化が進んでおり，動物実験のニーズも多岐に渡ることから，疾患モデル総合研究センターとして全学共同利用施設に改組されると共に，複数キャンパスに対応するため，角間分室を設置して今日に至っています。現在では適正な飼育環境の維持のみならず，実験動物の飼育管理や遺伝学的･微生物学的統御，遺伝子改変マウスの作製支援などで，本学における中心的な役割を担っております。

| 昭和63年4月 | 宝町地区動物実験指針・宝町地区動物実験委員会規程制定 |
| 平成9年3月 | 宝町地区動物実験委員会による施設利用計画の審査開始 |
| 平成11年3月 | サル自動飼育装置導入 |
| 平成14年4月 | 医学系研究科附属動物実験施設（改称） |
| 平成14年6月～ | 施設棟全面改修（一部機能をプレハブ棟等に移転） |
| 平成15年3月 | 全面改修を終え，運用再開 |
| 平成15年4月 | 学際科学実験センター実験動物研究施設（センター化に伴う改称） |

| Apr-2002 | Animal experiment facility attached to the Graduate School of Medicine (renamed) |
